KEVIN HANICK
vocalist
Kevin mostly sings—always has. He made his solo
debut in second grade at Clive Elementary School in Des
Moines. His rendition of "Davy Crockett" for Miss Lansing's
class is legendary—at least in his mind! Kingston
Trio-clone groups and jug bands led to the University of Iowa
Choir/Collegium Musicum/Opera Workshop experience. He later
was a member of the English Bach Chorale while living in
London, where he discovered Van Morrison—probably the most
important musical event in his life.
Kevin taught English for
14 years and for the past 14 years has been in real estate and
is an owner of Lepic-Kroeger REALTORS, Inc., in Iowa City. He
has three sons who are all more talented than he is, and a
wife, Pat, who is better looking. |
